As a senior in high school, we want all of our memories to be special. As head cheerleader, my friend’s expected me to make sure we had as much fun as possible in our last year of high school. For Senior Homecoming, I decided to surprise everyone with a limousine!! I got a really cheap deal and booked it immediately. There was no paper work to fill out, I just gave them my credit card and booked it. The man told me it was a really nice limousine and he even showed me pictures on the internet; it was gorgeous!! After hours of preparing for Homecoming, my friend’s and I waited outside my house for the limousine. Two hours after my scheduled pick up time, and still no limo. After apologizing to my friends, we showed up at our last Homecoming in our own cars, three hours late. I had to call my bank and Credit Card Company and go through a long process to get my money back. My friends and I were extremely disappointed, that wasn’t a memory we wanted for our Senior Homecoming.
When Winter Formal came around, my friend’s were skeptical about letting me plan the event because of the Homecoming disaster but I promised them I would use a better company. To make up for my Homecoming mistake, I decided I was going to book a Party Bus. I’ve never been on one before but I’ve heard they are like a club on wheels! I shopped around a lot and finally found a company with a really nice website and even nicer buses. I saw pictures of the bus and had to fill out a contract before I booked so I was sure this bus would actually show up. I showed all my friends pictures of the bus with the stand up bar and the light up floor; they were ecstatic!! The party bus that showed up on Formal night wasn’t what we thought we were getting. It was old, rusty, and moldy; the inside was dirty and dark, the only lighting was cheap rope lights, and the iPod connector didn’t work. Another Senior dance was ruined. We didn’t even get a discount. I let my friends down again.
I knew for Prom I had to get it right. I started shopping early and came across Party Bus L.A. The man I talked to quoted me a little higher than the previous companies but he invited me to come see the bus in person and assured me his company didn’t double book party buses. After seeing the stunning party bus, I knew I needed it. I booked it right away. The same party bus showed up fifteen minutes early on Prom night and was spotless inside and out. It had ice cold water and soda in it, a killer sound system, and two dance poles! We had an incredible night and a picture perfect prom. I personally know that the thrill of a good deal quickly disappears when the bus that shows up isn’t what you paid for or when it doesn’t show up at all! The extra money was worth the quality service and top notch buses. Thank you Party Bus L.A. for the perfect Senior Prom!
